  • IMPORTANT NOTE

    For the time being, please do not use the following characters in your password when changing your password with plus: / \ | @
    Plus will allow you to set a password with these characters, but your Windows Access password will not be correctly updated on ECES.

    We are working on the problem.

    Step-By-Step How To for ECES PLUS Password Change

    1. Use an SSL enabled web browser to go to:
      plus.colorado.edu

    2. Choose "Log-On" from the menu on the left, and enter your CUID and PIN.

    3. Choose "E-mail & Passwords" from the menu on the left.

    4. Click on the "Go" button next to "Specialty Accounts".

    5. Re-enter your CUID and PIN.

    6. Click on "Change/Set password for eces".

    7. Enter and Re-enter your new password.
      NOTE: Your new password must meet some minimum standards for security.

      AT THIS POINT, PLEASE LIMIT YOUR PASSWORD TO UPPERCASE LETTERS, LOWERCASE LETTERS, AND NUMBERS. YOUR PASSWORD MUST BE 8 CHARACTERS. NO MORE.

      If you prefer to use punctuation in your password, follow these instructions to reset your password to whatever you want: http://eces.colorado.edu/unixpass.html

    8. Click on "Submit".
