  • Fall 2009 Restoration of Printing on ECES

    Following changes on 10/03/2009, printing on ECES/blacksun has been restored.

    We have NOT disabled printing on eces-print.

    Both servers should be available for printing.

    To Add ECES/blacksun printers:

    1. Login to an ECE computer lab Windows 2000 or XP computer.

    2. Select Start -> Run

    3. Enter \\blacksun\{printer name}

    4. Valid printers are:
    5. circuits
    6. src
    7. logic
    8. embedded
    9. capstone
    10. Click on "Yes"

    Fall 2009 Temporary Print Server

    Due to a software issue on our primary print server, we have setup a temporary print server: eces-print

    To ease this transition, we have setup a script which should automatically add all available printers to your Windows Roaming Profile.

    However, a number of things may go wrong while this script is running.

    If you find you do not have the printer you want, follow these directions:

    1. Login to an ECE computer lab Windows 2000 or XP computer.

    2. Select Start -> Run

    3. Enter \\eces-print\{printer name}

    4. Valid printers are:
    5. circuits
    6. src
    7. logic
    8. embedded
    9. capstone
