I'm a PhD student in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I work with the MC@CU model checking group directed by Prof. Fabio Somenzi and Prof. Aaron Bradley. Our main focus is on the development of IImc, an Incremental, Inductive, model checker.
I earned my B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2006, graduating with distinction with honors. Following my graduation, I spent one year studying Mathematics in the Engineering Mathematics Department at Cairo University.
I started my M.Sc. degree at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen's University, Ontario, Canada in 2007 and transferred after one year to the University of Colorado at Boulder to continue my degree at the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering. I earned my M.Sc. degree in 2009 with a focus on thermal analysis for integrated circuits.
I'm interested in formal methods in computer-aided design and model checking. I'm working on incremental inductive model checking.
