I am using Pin these days.
Pin can be used for dynamically instrumenting binaries.
Pin can also be used for evaluating techniques in dynamic optimization.
Dynamic translation can allow program execution to be "optimized" for various
requirements which can possibly include power consumption, security or
speed.
